Every Folly summer runs on the same three anchors: the pier, the Washout, and Center Street. What changes year to year is which one is pulling the crowd on a given Saturday. This summer is unusual because all three have new energy at once. The rebuilt Edwin S. Taylor Folly Beach Fishing Pier now has a full-service tiki kitchen that just opened its doors. The Washout is hosting the 24th year of the Wahine Classic. And Center Street is holding the line between the winter festivals with the same handful of rooms locals already know by name.
